Daniel has lived and worked in Ecuador since 2012. He is based in Guayaquil where he acts as the Director of Teacher Training at IH Guayaquil. Before making the full time shift to teacher training, Daniel filled a number of roles, including that of Director of Studies at IH Quito. Apart from working as a tutor on multiple CELTA courses each year, he also manages the admissions for IH Montañita. He holds a MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from the University of Leicester.
Wouter (Voter) has been in ESL since 2003 when he took a supposed one-year break to teach English in China. Since then, he has worked for two years or more in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Afghanistan, Seattle and currently on the coast of Ecuador. During this time, he has worked as an English Instructor, Teacher Trainer and Director of Studies. He has worked for large franchises, Universities and smaller well-known schools. He has also been the speaker, including keynote, at several International ESL conferences. He completed a DELTA at IH London (2010) and currently works as a teacher trainer for International House, Ecuador giving him plenty of time on the beach with his large collection of dogs.
